Super Moon over the Basilica
The official date for the recent super moon was 8:34 am on November 14, so the moon was essentially full the night before, and the lighting was better as the moon was up about 40 minutes closer to sunset on the 13th. Here's the view only about 3 minutes after the top of the moon first appeared over the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, which is in Lewison, Maine. This photo is taken from the top of the parking garage behind the City Hall in Auburn, about 2/3 mile away from the Basilica.
Single exposure: f/8, 1/20 sec, ISO 200, -0.7 step exp. comp, focal length 600mm. (Tamron 150-600 zoom; Canon T6i; mild crop, mild contrast adjust in post-processing)
