Androscoggin River by the Light of the Moon
I went down to the river about 1:30 am Sat morning (11/4/2017) to take some pictures of the Androscoggin River under clear skies and the bright light of the the full moon.
It's been a busy week for the mighty river as it carried countless tons of water from the region's big memorable wind/rain storm of last Sunday/Monday.
My vantage point is the riverwalk's viewing platform right at the edge of the Great Falls in Lewiston/Auburn, ME It's a wonderful place to take in the view and contemplate the power of this river.
A 30 second exposure, ISO 400, f/7.1; 50mm. Except for minor saturation edit, this is how the camera saw the scene.
